New restaurant with familiar face moving into train at former Missing Link BBQ

Published

on

A familiar barbeque spot that recently closed appears to be quickly getting replaced.

Missing Link BBQ opened in a trailer in Dartmouth in July of 2022 at 335 Old Fall River Road and then moved to 938 Lees River Avenue in Somerset at the end of last year before closing last week.

Missing Link was owned by Somerset residents Tom Lyon and Doug Moniz.

While Moniz will not be part of the new venture, Chef Lyon will be, according to a social media post.

“Tom’s new restaurant (Choo-Chew) will have some familiar favorites, along with some newer options.”

No word yet on when the new restaurant will open.
