Massachusetts man plans on making a move after hitting $1 million prize on State Lottery instant game
A Massachusetts man is on the move after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Solano Perez of New Bedford is a $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Billion Dollar Extravaganza” instant ticket game, the Mass Lottery’s first $50 ticket.
Perez opted to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes) and plans to buy a new home with his winnings.
He purchased his winning ticket at Sam’s Food Stores at 367 Ashley Blvd. in New Bedford. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
