Sad for this woman. Sad for all of those who loved her. Also sad for the train engineer and anyone else who witnessed this tragedy. The long lasting implications of a tragedy like this cannot be understated. May she rest in peace

Her only choice was to traumatize the train engineer and hundreds of passengers?

This was a terrible, selfish act. One can leave this world without having to hurt innocents like she did.

The deep datk hole of depression is not selfishness. It is a feeling of hopelesness, despere, feeling the world or your loved one would be better off with you dead cause you don’t feel l9ved or wanted or like they look at you as a pain cuz you can’t even help yourself. It’s a dark hole were you feel hopeless & you are so depressed you can’t think straight, you feel like a loser, you have no happy feelings or thoughts, you are consumed with how your life & mind has turned to shit. You want to feel better, but you can’t seem to find a way out. So to stop your pain, you think death is the only way out. The courage it takes for someone to commit suicide is incredible for someone to commit this act. They can’t think that family & friends will be upset cause you are so fardown the dark rabbit hole. So please don’t feel they are selfish, they know no other way out. It’s a horrible horrible feeling of doom!

I I just responded to an individual who thought she did it to traumatize others. And the very same words you used of a deep dark hole are the very same I used, there’s no doubt you understand. At least someone has empathy for her, she was one of my neighbors.

You uneducated pos! How dare you! You clearly have lived a sheltered existence. People who take their lives believe that they are doing the world a favor by “going away.” They believe they’re existence is a burden. Your post sickens me.

She wasn’t mentally ill woman who lived in our building complex. Unfortunately, the stigma that comes along with any kind of mental illness often causes more issues. There was no ill intent on her part, she was in the deepest blackest hole. Any human being could be and to her that was her only option. People like to make fun of psychiatric disorders, there is nothing funny about it. Mental health is just as important as any physical health and nobody grows up saying I want a psychological disorder. Have a little respect.

Mental health should be treated just as much as physical health. Ifeel doctors have no clue how to treat this issue at all. They are just making a educated decision. So they just throw pills down your throat and hope for the best. Guess what, it doesn’t work that way!!!

Mental health is not taken seriously
I went to the hospital I couldn’t breathe well I struggled. The doctor did scans came back knocked on his head and said “it’s all in here it’s your anxiety” and sent me home
FOUR days later my pcp called to find out what antibiotics I was put on and other meds for my partially collapsed lung!
The ER doc said it was in my head
    But no
It was a partially collapsed lung

My brothers therapist told him he would be ok after he told her he was afraid he wanted to kill himself

    He’s dead

    Medical doctors don’t care

    Sorry for all involved

So sad but I truly understand. It is impossible to survive in this state financially. I’m close to being homeless again myself. I’d be lying if I said I haven’t thought about it myself. Sometimes you just can’t take anymore.
My heart goes out to all that knew and loved her.

May she R.I.P. and may her loved ones find comfort in good memories of her.
