17-year-old shot while riding on scooter in Massachusetts, police say
EAST BRIDGEWATER — Chief Michael Jenkins reports that the East Bridgewater Police Department is actively investigating after a 17-year-old juvenile male was shot in the parking lot of a condominium complex.
Shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, East Bridgewater Police received a 911 call reporting that a person was shot on Robins Street, in the Pompohono Pines condominium complex.
Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old male who had been shot in the stomach. Police and East Bridgewater Fire Department paramedics rendered aid to the victim, who was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital to receive further care.
The initial investigation indicates that the victim and another 17-year-old male were riding on a motorized scooter when the shooting took place. Police do not believe at this time that the incident was random.
Police are actively investigating this incident and have several leads that are being pursued. If anyone has any information about this incident, they are asked to call the East Bridgewater Police Department at 508-378-7223.

Exactly like my other comment, WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING TO US!! 😳 I remember growing up and everything was so different. This incident shouldn’t ever have happened. 17 is so young. The age of my son right now. I don’t know what I’d do..
