One transported to New Bedford hospital after multi-vehicle crash with rollover
Crews responded Wednesday to a multi-vehicle crash.
According to the Lakeville Fire Department, two vehicles collided on Bedford Street, near the former Orchid Of Hawaii.
Ambulance 3, Ambulance 2, Engine 1, and Car 2 responded to the scene.
Two patients were evaluated and treated at the scene; an adult was transported to Saint Luke’s Hosptial with injuries that were not believed to be serious.
The road was closed until crews could stabilize the scene and recover the vehicles.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
As firefighters cleared the scene, a second call was initiated for a master alarm activation at 200 Keneth Welch Drive. Due to a recall of supplemental staffing, there was no delay in the second response.
