Westport Police looking for public’s help after 12-year-old injured in bicycle vs vehicle collision
Westport Police are looking for the public’s assistance to help identify a driver.
On Tuesday, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a green Kia Soul struck a 12-year-old child at the intersection of Gifford and Old County Road.
According to police, the child fell off the bicycle and suffered scrapes on the knees and elbow.
An unidentified female driver got out of the vehicle and asked if the child was ok prior to leaving the area.
Westport PD asks you to contact Officer Douglas Wenson at 508-636-1122 with any information you may have regarding the identity of the driver.
