Massachusetts man accused of running man down with his vehicle leaving pool of blood

A Massachusetts man is accused of running down another man with his vehicle this weekend.

According to police, on Saturday, just after 4:00 a.m., the Milford Police Department was dispatched to Milford Regional Hospital for a male who walked in for treatment after being struck by a motor vehicle.

The victim in question told investigating officers he had a verbal argument with the suspect at approximately 2:28 a.m. after alerting the vehicle operator he was parked in the middle of the road.  After walking away, the victim heard the acceleration of an engine before being struck and upended over the vehicle.  Milford Police Patrolman then responded to the scene of the collision and located items belonging to the victim and pooling blood.

 Through victim testimony and the investigation of the Milford Police Detective Bureau and CEMLEC Accident recon, officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and the alleged operator, 28-year-old Alejandro Gonzalez of Milford.  Gonzalez was placed under arrest at 5:48 a.m. and charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Marked Lanes Violation, Leaving the Scene of Personal Injury, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Negligently so as to Endanger.

  1. Its not assault and battery its ATTEMPTED MURDER theres nothing negligent about this. They would be throwing the book at actual citizens if that one detail was different.
