66-year-old man killed in crash on Route 105 remembered as good-natured soul who loved the outdoors
MIDDLEBOROUGH — The victim’s name has been released in a fatal weekend crash.
Police Chief Joseph Perkins and Fire Chief Owen Thompson report that the Middleborough Police and Fire Departments responded to a fatal single-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., Middleborough Police and Fire responded to Thompson Street (Route 105) just south of Plain Street for a report of a serious motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a tree.
According to Beth Stone of the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, 66-year-old John Kadish of Middleborough, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kadish was being remembered as a kind and good-natured soul who loved the outdoors, Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at The Chateau Restaurant, 195 School Street, Waltham, on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, starting at 5:00 PM. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral and Interment services will be private.
Stone stated Friday that the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
