UPDATE: Man stabbed in Fall River in possible robbery attempt

Fall River Police are investigating a reported stabbing that took place in the city on Tuesday.

According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, just before 8:00 p.m., a 62-year-old man stated he was on the 200 block of County Street when his vehicle was approached by an unknown male. The male asked for money and a ride.  After a short conversation, the unknown male allegedly lunged at him through the passenger side window. The victim stated he thought he was being robbed and was able to fight the male off of him. While fleeing the area, the victim realized he was bleeding.  He encountered a police officer in the area of Ruggles Park and flagged him down for assistance. 

The victim was transported to a Trauma Center for medical attention after sustaining injuries to his hand and chest in the incident.  His injuries are considered non-life threatening.

    But wait Livability ranked Fall River is one of the best places to live. The more accurate list is Fall River is the most dangerous cities in Massachusetts. Why? liberal Democrat policies that allow dangerous people back on the streets in the name of ” restorative justice ” coupled with an influx of unvetted illegal aliens and you have a recipe for disaster
