Several seriously injured, driver cited, after three-vehicle crash on Charles Braga Bridge
Several people were injured, and a driver was cited after a serious multi-vehicle crash on the Fall River, Somerset line.
According to Trooper James DeAngelis, Troopers responded to Route 195 Westbound on the Braga Bridge in Fall River at approximately 5:55 a.m. for reports of a three-vehicle crash.
The collision involved a 2020 Chevy pickup, operated by a 30-year-old man from New Bedford, a 2021 Cadillac XT6, operated by a 62-year-old man from Acushnet, and a 2023 Kia Sportage, operated by a 29-year-old woman from Bridgewater.
The operators of the Cadillac and Kia were transported to Rhode Island Hospital with significant injuries. The operator of the Chevy was also transported to Rhode Island Hospital, but was only suffering from minor injuries.
The driver of the Chevy was also issued a criminal summons for motor vehicle related offenses.
The scene cleared shortly after 8 a.m.
