Officials identify 18-year-old who died from injuries in Norfolk County shooting
The 18-year-old victim of an early Sunday morning shooting in the area of 31 Grove Street, Randolph, passed away on Wednesday, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey and Randolph Police Chief Anthony Marag.
“The investigation by Randolph and Massachusetts State Police into this shooting is now a murder investigation,” District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey said. “Randolph police discovered Isiah Andrade wounded behind the wheel of an automobile in the area where Grove Street and Randall Way intersect shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday as they responded to a noise complaint for a party in that area.”
Andrade, of Brockton, had obvious life-threatening injury. Officers rendered aid on-scene until he could be transported to Boston Medical Center by the Randolph Fire Department. “Detectives from Randolph and from the State Police Homicide Unit assigned to the District Attorney’s Office have been investigating since that time,” District Attorney Morrissey said.
District Attorney Morrissey and Chief Marag asked anyone with information about the incident to contact Randolph Police at 781-963-1212 or the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office State Police unit at 781-830-4990.
