Massachusetts man has new purchases lined up after hitting $1 million prize on lottery scratch ticket
A Massachusetts man has some new plans after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Robert Allen, Sr. has won a $1 million prize playing the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Hit $500” instant ticket game.
Allen, who is from of Lakeville, chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans on using some of his winnings to purchase a new car and home.
He purchased his winning ticket at Star Liquor Mart located at 78 Main St. in Lakeville. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
