Massachusetts State Police assisting local police with search for missing 23-year-old man
The Massachusetts State Police are assisting local Police today in searching for a man that has been reported missing.
According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, 23-year-old Ethan Freeman was reported missing on Jan. 19 of this year. He was last seen that evening on foot in the area of Arlington Street in Fitchburg.
Freeman may have taken a ride share to Belchertown, Amherst, or Gardner areas. He may have a firearm with him (at the time he went missing, he had a license to carry, which has since been suspended).
He is about 5’11”, 210, with black hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray winter jacket, jeans, a black hat, and gray boots.
MSP Air Wing, Special Emergency Response Team (search and rescue unit) and K9 Unit are conducting the search with Fitchburg officers.
Anyone with info about him is asked to call 911 or FPD at 978-345-4355.
Procopio stated that at this time, this remains a missing person investigation.
