Rehoboth and Taunton personnel rescue man deep in the woods using new utility vehicle
Local personnel rescued a man deep in the woods over the weekend.
According to the Rehoboth Fire Department, last night, RFD along with the Rehoboth Police Rehoboth Ambulance Committee, and the Taunton Police Department, entered a heavily wooded area off of Reynolds Avenue in Rehoboth to help locate and extricate from the woods, an individual who was unable to get out on his own.
The newly purchased UTV was brought out to assist in the removal of the victim from the rugged terrain. It was the first use of the UTV which was acquired for incidents such as this.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and was discharged early this morning.
