Boston Fire Department: Driver sent to the hospital after crash causes front of building to collapse
A driver was sent to the hospital after a crash destroyed the front of a building on Sunday morning.
According to the Boston Fire Department, a car crashed into a block of stores at Corinth Street in Roslindale.
The driver was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital.
The building has been evacuated, for concern of a potential collapse.
Boston Fire stated that companies are using a laser to monitor the building to see if there is any movement and were waiting on a structural engineer to arrive.
The public is asked to avoid the area of Belgrade, Birch and Corinth Streets.
No other details were released.
