Bystanders save man’s life after rescuing him from burning car on Route 24
A Massachusetts woman gave a big shoutout to her husband and another bystander for possibly saving a man’s life after a fiery crash on Route 24.
Maria Maynard of Raynham stated that her husband Brian pulled a young man out of a car after a horrible accident Sunday morning.
“Shout out to my husband for pulling a young man out of a car after a horrible accident (Sunday) morning 5 minutes before it was fully engulfed in flames.”
Maria stated that Brian received assistance in rescuing the man from an unknown bicyclist who happened to be riding by.
“He was driving south on Route 24 and ended up crashing near the Pleasant Street overpass as we were driving by. We thought it was just a brush fire at first.”
Officials have not released the name of the victim or his condition, however Maria said that he appeared to be ok.
