Driver sent to hospital after rollover crash into pole in Lakeville
A person was transported to the hospital Tuesday after crashing into a pole.
According to the Lakeville Fire Department, the call came in for a crash at Howland Road just before 11:30 a.m., sending Lakeville responders to the scene.
Arriving crews found an overturned vehicle with the occupant still trapped inside.
Due to downed power lines, firefighters had to exercise great caution while attempting to free the person.
The driver was freed from the vehicle after 5 minutes of work.
The lone occupant was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening.
