New restaurant, lounge, and banquet hall opening soon in Fall River at familiar location
A new restaurant, lounge, and banquet hall is coming to Fall River at a familiar location.
The Path Restaurant and Lounge will be opening at 820 King Philip Street, the former Lusitano Restaurant.
Gainer Forrester went in front of the Fall River Licensing Board Tuesday representing The Path Corporation. The group was looking to have a transfer of license from the previous restaurant.
Forrester stated that the eatery will specialize in American and Caribbean cuisine.
Cosmetic changes have been taking place inside of the building.
According to Forrester, the banquet hall will also be open with an occupancy of over 220 people.
The facility will be open from Tuesday though Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and closed on Monday.
Forrester is hoping to open by the end of the week.
The Licensing Board granted Forrester the license transfer pending a health certificate.
