Alleged Fall River panhandler arrested on charges of groping, attempting to rob driver
A man has been arrested in Fall River after an incident that has left a woman shaken.
According to Captain Barden Castro, on Saturday, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Officer Marques Pires spoke with a woman who reported that while stopped, with her window open in traffic at the intersection of Plymouth Ave and I-195W, she was suddenly accosted by a male unknown to her.
She reported that the man reached into her car and began to grope her while demanding money. The victim fought back and fled the area and then contacted police.
Ofc. Pires, based on the description provided by the victim and his knowledge of people who spend time in that area, was able to formulate a suspect who was later positively identified by the victim.
43-year-old Todd Gluchacki was placed under arrest and will be facing charges of Attempt to Commit a Crime- Unarmed Robbery, Indecent A&B on a Person Over the age of 14, and Breaking and Entering in to a Motor Vehicle for a Felony.
The boyfriend of the victim told Fall River Reporter that the man was a panhandler and he wanted the public to be aware as he doesn’t want the same thing to happen to others as his girlfriend is traumatized by the incident.

Todd aka.314 is struggling with deep psychological damage. I’m surprised he has come this far without catastrophic consequences. I’m not making excuses for this dirtball but anyone who has encountered this fellow should understand. His mental health is a symptom of all of our failures as humans. Where is this guy’s family. If anyone wants to know why Todd is known as 314 to me just let me know!

City leadership needs to get these mentally ill junkies off the streets and away from the major intetsections. Can’t enforce pan-handling laws due to the rotten SJC court decision ? enforce the loitering laws.
These junkies ruin the city and the economic potential of the city. certainly impact the quality of life.
We don’t want to hear from the nasty activist groups that push having these mentally ill drug addicts free rein to terrorize regular citizens.
Thre are more social services/programs than ever available to these individuals. neither Coogan or Ponte spoke to this critical issue during the campaign. Neither should be Mayor; they both are ineffective and suck.
