Police ask for parents to check candy after needles reported in Woonsocket
A Police Department is sending a warning to parents after there was reportedly a disturbing find.
The Woonsocket Police are reporting that sewing needles were found in candy.
“We are asking parents to check their children’s Halloween candy vigilantly. We received one report from a family who stated that they received Twizzlers with needles in them while in the Bernon district. We are investigating.”
