Family of autistic boy searching for iPad stolen in Fall River
A family is looking for a very important iPad that has reportedly been stolen out of Fall River.
According to Russell Brags, yesterday, someone took an iPad mini out of his car in front of Acores Market. Brags states that it is not a normal iPad mini. This iPad is used by his non-verbal autistic son. Because he is unable to talk, it has special software on it and it is his life line to communicate with the world.
Brags has begun trying to retrieve the crucial iPad.
“The Find My iPhone app had it last on the 200 block of Fountain Street and was just turned off. If you have it please do the right thing and return it.”
It is not just the iPad that was lost, but a case which his son loved.
“The big issue is the speech app. It just sucks because he really loved that case which for an autistic boy, they get fixated on things like that. I am currently looking for a replacement.”
The iPad is in a case similar to the one above.
Brags biggest concern is getting the iPad back and not prosecution of those involved.
“Honestly it’s not about the money. if I could just get it back to just get a backup and case. That would be it. If the other person really needed it, I would give the iPad to them.”
“There will be no questions asked. You can drop it off at Dunkin’ Donuts on Milliken Blvd again no questions asked.”
