Fall River sees double digit cases, one additional death in Friday COVID-19 report

Fall River saw an increase in new cases of COVID-19 Friday.

The City saw 10 more cases in today’s report, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increase to 1,637.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River has increased to 109 as the city has seen an additional COVID-19 fatality.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health started reporting both confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and deaths dating back to March 1, 2020.

Saturday saw 2 additional cases of COVID-19. Sunday’s report revealed 5 cases. Monday’s report confirmed 3 more cases. Tuesday saw 3 more cases. Wednesday saw no new cases. Thursday added 4 more cases.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
 Appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday
 Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
