Fall River continues to see low COVID-19 case numbers, Coogan updates MA recoveries
Fall River has seen more positive cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
2 additional cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River stand at 1,568.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
According to Mayor Coogan, currently in Massachusetts, 87% of those diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 96.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health started reporting both confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and deaths dating back to March 1, 2020.
Wednesday saw 3 more COVID-19 cases. Thursday’s report revealed 6 more cases and Friday saw one additional case. 6 more cases were reported on Saturday. Sunday saw 2 reported cases. Monday revealed 8 more cases.
Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
Appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday
Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
Governor Charlie Baker signed an executive order on May 1, 2020 requiring face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible. This order is effective May 6, 2020 and will remain in effect until rescinded or until the emergency is terminated.
