Body found in early morning car fire in Plymouth
A body was found in a vehicle early Saturday morning that was fully engulfed in flames.
A call came in at approximately 2:20 a.m. for a motor vehicle fire in a parking lot on the waterfront not far from the Plymouth Harbor boat ramp on Water Street.
The vehicle, reportedly a Ford Crown Victoria sedan, was found to be on fire. After Plymouth firefighters extinguished the flames, a body was discovered inside the vehicle in the driver seat.
Police and detectives were then called to the scene.
The incident is currently under investigation.
