Fall River Police investigating possible Sunday evening shooting
The Fall River Police Department is investigating a possible shooting that took place Sunday evening.
A call came into Fall River Police at approximately 8:45 p.m. for 4-6 shots fired in the 200 block of Kennedy Street.
According to Detective John Robinson, when Officers arrived on scene, the area was canvassed. In addition to hearing the shots fired, witnesses saw between 5 and 8 people flee the area in two autos, one described as gray and the other black. One vehicle headed towards Jefferson and the other towards Rodman, according to the witnesses. Robinson stated that no information on make/model of vehicles or race and gender of suspects were given due to poor lighting conditions.
No injuries, casings, or property damage were located at that time.
