Lakeville Police officer and cruiser struck, woman arrested, after Saturday morning crash
A police officer was injured after a crash this morning.
According to Lakeville Police, this morning while investigating an attempted breaking an entering on Clear Pond Road, a Lakeville Police Officer and cruiser were struck by a motor vehicle. The Officer was getting into his cruiser when the crash occurred.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as 21-year-old Hannah Rink of Middleboro who was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol, Operating to Endanger, Impeded Operation, and Speeding.
Rink will be arraigned in Wareham District Court on Monday February 3rd.
The Lakeville Officer was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton where he was treated and released.
