An explosion has left a man fighting for his life tonight.
Mansfield police and fire reported an explosion at Hope and Pratt Street in the town early this afternoon.
Firefighters from Norton, Easton, and Foxborough responded to Canaan Fuels to help put out the fire according to police. Every employee and customer was accounted for. One man, however, was transported by MedFlight with life threatening injuries.
Both roads were closed for much of the afternoon, but had reopened at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Police warn to please continue to drive slowly through the area as there are still pedestrians, members of the media, and investigators in the area.
