Rescheduled Braga Bridge repair work to take place, lane closures scheduled
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be conducting overnight bridge joint repair work on I-195 westbound on the Braga Bridge over the Taunton River in Fall River and Somerset. The work is scheduled to take place from 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24, until 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25. A minimum of one travel lane will remain open to vehicles traveling over the bridge at all times.
Traffic management for this work will consist of standard temporary traffic controls utilizing police details.
Those traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution. Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area. The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
