Wind and heavy rain for most, snow for some mid-week
The National Weather Service is warning the area about a mid-week storm that will bring heavy rain, wind, and for some, snow.
Tuesday night into early Wednesday a coastal storm will impact southern New England with heavy rainfall and strong winds. In addition, some wet snow accumulation is possible over the higher elevations in Northeast Connecticut, Northwest Rhode Island and central Massachusetts.

Tuesday Night
A chance of rain before 11pm, then rain and snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 36. Southeast wind 6 to 8 mph becoming northeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Wednesday
Rain and snow likely before 8am, then a chance of rain between 8am and noon. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 57. North wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
