Massachusetts State Trooper makes animal rescue Tuesday
A Massachusetts State Trooper rescued an animal from a possible death Tuesday.
Trooper Joe Hall was returning from an event, when he came across this owl rolling around on Lancaster Ave in Lunenburg. Trooper Hall, pulled the owl out of the roadway, who appeared to have been struck/stunned by a vehicle, but no apparent injuries.
Trooper Hall wrapped the owl up in his patrol coat, called animal control, but before animal control could take the bird, it seemed to regain its senses and subsequently flew off into the woods.
Great job to Trooper Hall!
