Somerset man arrested for OUI in one of three Wednesday morning school bus crashes
Somerset officials responded to three school bus crashes Wednesday morning. One of them leading to an arrest.
According to Somerset Police Chief George McNeil, the three accidents involving buses this morning occurred between 7:26 and 7:48 a.m.
No children were injured.
The first accident occurred on Read Street near Pleasant View.
The vehicle involved in the crash was a 2006 Honda Civic. The driver apparently rear ended the bus and was arrested for OUI drugs.
He was identified as Rolando Cavaco Jr., 37, from Somerset.
Cavaco is still being processed and will be transported to Fall River District Court for arraignment at some point today.
