A Fall River barber shop will close its doors at the end of the year after 15 years in business.
In a social media post, the owner of All Star Barbers, Steve Grace, reflected on starting the business at age 24 with a passion for cutting hair and a desire to build something special. Over the years, the shop became a place where friendships formed, clients grew up, and barbers developed both personally and professionally.
Grace thanked every barber who worked at the shop and every client who sat in one of its chairs, whether once or regularly over the past 15 years. “Your loyalty, trust, support, and friendship have meant more to me than you’ll ever know,” the post stated. “You helped turn a young kid’s dream into a successful business.”
While calling the closure bittersweet, Grace said he is excited about a new business venture and plans to continue cutting hair. “This isn’t the end of my journey as a barber. It’s the beginning of something brand new. I WILL STILL BE CUTTING HAIR.” Additional details about the new venture are expected soon.
All Star Barbers is located at 1500 Brayton Avenue in Fall River.
