With Halloween over, focus has now turned to Thanksgiving and Christmas and with that, Fall River festivities such as our famous parade.
Greater Fall River RE-CREATION has announced the upcoming 42nd Annual Children’s Holiday Parade to kick-off the holidays in Fall River.
The parade will commence at Kennedy Park and proceed along South Main Street ending at the corner of Central and Bedford Streets.
The event is currently scheduled for Saturday, December 5th at 1:00 pm in the City of Fall River.
Among the typical highlights of one of the largest Holiday Parades in New England is:
• A number of high school bands throughout New England, bagpipe bands, drum and bugle corps, brass bands, giant parade balloons, local fire and police departments, beautifully decorated floats and large vehicles, marching units, vehicles, bands and many costume characters!
• Full participation from the Fall River Public Schools and other local schools
