Some free waterfront parking is coming to the City of Fall River.
The Fall River Redevelopment Authority has announced that the new 113-space parking lot at 45 Anawan Street will open on Thursday.
The FRRA states that the new lot will greatly enhance access to the many attractions and amenities along Fall River’s central waterfront.

“Whether you’re attending a concert at the Narrows, enjoying dinner at Primo on Water, or visiting the Carousel, you’re encouraged to take advantage of this convenient parking option.
You can access the lot at the entrance off of Water Street from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., seven days a week. Overnight parking is not permitted.
The FRRA paid $698,500 for the land from Liberty Utilities in July.
