A Massachusetts teen killed in a motorcycle crash late last week is being remembered.
At just after 7:30 p.m. a call came into dispatch for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the area of 357 Main Street in Agawam on Friday.
18-year-old Oleksandr Petrovskyi was the operator of the motorcycle and lone vehicle involved. He was found by first responders barely responsive.
He was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to Baystate Medical Center.
According to a GoFundMe fundraiser, Petrovskyi was “full of life, he was kind and compassionate. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved life, had many dreams and goals for his future, and enjoyed attending church, fellowshipping with others, and being an active part of his community.”
Petrovskyi’s body will be transported back to his homeland of Ukraine, where his family resides.
The crash is under investigation.
