Three restaurant chain locations that specializes in chicken wings are coming to the South Coast in Massachusetts.
Wingstop is a Dallas-based fast-casual chicken wing chain founded in Garland, Texas, in 1994 by Antonio Swad and Bernadette Fiaschetti. It is known for cooked-to-order bone-in and boneless wings, tenders, and hand-cut seasoned fries tossed in signature flavors such as Lemon Pepper, Original Hot, Garlic Parmesan, and Mango Habanero. The company has more than 3,000 restaurants worldwide.
Massachusetts already has a growing footprint, including Attleboro, Brockton, Raynham, Seekonk, Worcester, and others.
The first of the 3 new Wingstops is planned at 341 State Road (Route 6) in Dartmouth. Wingstop’s website lists it as coming soon. No exact opening date has been announced.
The second location is planned at 1090 Kings Highway in New Bedford. There is no firm opening date yet.
The third location is coming to 829 G.A.R. Highway (Route 6) in Somerset with no confirmed opening date.
