A Cape Cod man killed in a weekend motorcycle crash is being remembered,
Laconia New Hampshire Police Chief Matthew Canfield confirmed the crash happened on Route 3 at approximately 11:00 p.m. near Funspot and the Looney Bin.
According to New Hampshire Patch, the initial investigation indicates the motorcycles were traveling in opposite directions when they struck each other. One of the motorcycles caught fire after the collision.
Two men and one woman were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth person was flown by DHART to Concord Hospital with serious injuries.
Police said each motorcycle appeared to have an operator and a passenger at the time of the crash.
Police Chief Matt Canfield identified the victims as Cameron Mosher, 28, of Dennis, Massachusetts; Miles Collette, 32, of Gilford; and Jeanine Fereshetian, 33, of Laconia.
An adult female sent to the hospital has not been identified, and was taken by medical helicopter to Concord Hospital-Concord.
Three of the victims died at the scene, Canfield said. “The fourth victim has critical and life threatening injuries.”
Canfield said no businesses in the area were involved. It is not yet known whether speed or impairment played a role in the crash.
According to Dennis Professional Firefighters Local 2583, Mosher “dedicated himself to public service. He previously served as a Call Firefighter with the Dennis Fire Department and was currently employed by the Dennis Department of Public Works.”
Today, Cameron will make his final journey home to Cape Cod. He is expected to cross the Sagamore Bridge at approximately 5:00 PM, continuing along Route 6 to the old Exit 8 in Yarmouth, then traveling down Station Avenue to Hallett Funeral Home.
The Town of Dennis stated that grief counselors and a Chaplain will be available at the Department of Public Works throughout the day Monday.
Mosher’s father, Robert “Bert” Mosher, currently serves with the Dennis Fire Department.
