A Massachusetts woman is taking home a big payday on a State Lottery scratch ticket, and she already knows what she plans to do with her newfound fortune.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Lori Morales of Springfield has won the first $15 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$15,000,000 Magnificent Millions” $30 scratch ticket game.
Morales chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $9,750,000 (before taxes). She plans on helping family and purchasing a new house with the winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms, 1061 Memorial Dr. in Chicopee. The store will receive a $50,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
There are two unclaimed $15 million grand prizes and eight $1 million prizes remaining in the “$15,000,000 Magnificent Millions” scratch ticket game.
