Guatemalan national convicted on list of charges, accused of illegally entering the country 3 times, arrested in Fall River by ICE Boston

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has announced a recent arrest in Massachusetts.

According to ICE, on Saturday, ICE Boston arrested Victor Manuel Chivalan-Alvarez, a twice previously removed criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, during targeted operations in Fall River, Mass.

ICE states that his criminal history includes a conviction for assault w/ a dangerous weapon, carrying a dangerous weapon, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, resisting arrest, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and unlawful reentry of deported alien.

An active warrant for his arrest was issued by Hinds County Circuit Court in Mississippi on January 20, 2019, for negligent vehicular homicide.

ICE noted that Chivalan-Alvarez entered the United States illegally on three occasions, with his most recent removal from the United States on Jan. 27, 2020.
