Long-time Massachusetts radio personality, beloved and familiar voice, has died

A long time radio personality in southeastern Massachusetts has died.

According to a radio station announcement, Billy Teed passed away on Monday following a brief illness.

Billy was a beloved and familiar voice on the Cape Cod airwaves, beginning his broadcasting career as a teenager. Most recently, he could be heard on Frank Plays It All and weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Y101.

He met his wife, Meghan and they married in January of 2024.

Teed was also a teacher during the day.

Services have not yet been announced.
