Authorities investigating after motorcycle rider killed in Plymouth County crash

A weekend motorcycle crash turned fatal in Plymouth County.

According to police, at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, Elm Street from Furnace to Pond in Halifax was closed due to a serious motorcycle accident.

Upon arrival, crews performed CPR on the victim, however, the rider later succumbed to injuries.

The roadway was reopened at approximately 11:45 p.m.

The crash is under investigation.
