Massachusetts market trip results in grand prize win after hit on State Lottery scratch ticket

A routine trip to the market became life changing as a Massachusetts man hit a State Lottery grand prize on a scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Guy Babineau is the winner of a $500,000 top prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$500,000 Frenzy” $50 instant ticket game.

Babineau received a one-time payment of $500,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at White Dove Market in Salem. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

The “$500,000 Frenzy” instant ticket launched with a total of 50 top prizes. 42 have yet to be claimed.
