Fall River pair accused of vandalizing restaurant that gave them free meals

A Fall River restaurant has reportedly been vandalized after giving free meals to the suspects.

Faneek’s Coney Island on Rhode Island Avenue took to social media to express their understandable frustration.

“We’ve been working so hard lately to improve the overall appearance of Faneek’s. Today, we finally had our front step newly cemented, but unfortunately, these two individuals felt the need to vandalize our property by carving their initials into the wet cement.

“What makes this sting the most is that these two specific individuals frequently use our “Pay It Forward” program to eat here for free. To offer free meals to those in need, only to have our hard work, money, and property intentionally disrespected in return, is beyond disappointing.

“Actions have consequences. To the two in this video: you have officially lost your privilege to our Pay It Forward meals.

“To the rest of our amazing community who continuously supports our small business and treats our space with respect—thank you. We will get this fixed and keep working hard for you!”

This isn’t the first time Faneek’s has had to deal with vandals.

Last September, the eatery announced that they were dealing with thefts, vandalism, and trash dumping.

Faneek’s stated that they will be filing a report.
