A trip to a convenience store for a Massachusetts man turned into a big State Lottery win on a scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Admilson Da Silva of Quincy is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Cash King Doubler” instant ticket game.

He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Da Silva plans to save and invest the winnings.

He purchased the winning ticket at Quick Stop Gas & Convenience, 246 East Water St. in Rockland. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
