Trip to variety store results in $1 million State Lottery win on scratch ticket for Massachusetts man; here is how he will spend it

A Massachusetts man knows exactly what he plans on doing with the cash after a recent big State Lottery win.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Anthony Carullo of Saugus has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$25,000,000 Mega Money” $50 instant ticket game.

Carullo chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans to invest the winnings.

He purchased his winning ticket at Dicks Variety North, 2 Main St. in Salisbury. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$25,000,000 Mega Money has two $25,000,000, three $2,000,000, and seven $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
