ICE Boston announces arrest of reported gang member accused of felonies in California and Arizona, convicted of other felonies, illegal re-entry 3 times

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has announced the recent arrest of a Mexican national reportedly living in the United States illegal.

According to ERO Boston, on Tuesday, ICE Boston arrested Miguel Angel Gonzalez-Navarro.

ICE states that Gonzalez-Navarro’s extensive criminal history includes felony convictions for illegal re-entry (three times), charges for assault and battery (multiple), false citizenship, probation violation, false statement to a federal officer, criminal threat w/ intent to terrorize, amphetamine possession, and pending felony charges for carjacking and threat to injure in California and Arizona. Gonzalez-Navarro was previously sentenced to 11 years in prison.

Gonzalez-Navarro has been identified as a confirmed member of the Nortenos gang. The gang affiliation was corroborated by law enforcement intelligence and visible gang-related face tattoos.
