Massachusetts woman finds old tickets, one of which is big State Lottery winner
As the saying goes, it is better late than never and that couldn’t be truer for a Massachusetts woman after coming away with a State Lottery win.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Deborah Canedy is the winner of the Mass Cash $100,000 grand prize.
Canedy claimed her prize last week after finding some old tickets, one of which turned out to be the winner.
She purchased her winning ticket at One Stop Mart in West Springfield. The store has received a $1,000 bonus for its sale of this winning ticket.
Mass Cash drawings are conducted twice a day, seven days a week. The cost of each play is $1. To play, you must pick five out of 35 numbers or choose Quic Pic, which randomly picks the five numbers for you. Tickets that match all five winning numbers selected in the drawing win the game’s top prize.
