Authorities identify 19 and 20-year-olds killed in Massachusetts highway crash
Authorities have released the identities of two young men killed in a Friday morning highway collision in Massachusetts.
According to police, at just after 4:00 a.m., Barre Police and Fire responded to Hubbardston Road (Route 62) in the area of Cummings Road for a serious single car motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, it was determined there were three occupants. One was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries and 2 had succumbed to their injuries as a result of the collision.
The deceased have been identified as 20-year-old Connor Post of Gardner and 19-year-old Michael Publicover of Winchendon.
A Meal Train has been organized for the family of Publicover who was a high school football standout.
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been organized for the family of Post who was described as the best friend anyone could ask for.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation involving the Barre Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police.
