Family and friends are looking for justice after a Fall River man was killed in a hit-and-run collision.

According to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III, at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Fall River police responded to the area of 214 Stafford Road for a bicyclist who was struck by a motor vehicle.

Upon arrival, troopers located 34-year-old Jordan Lyttle on the roadway who had suffered significant injury.  He was transported for treatment and was pronounced deceased a few hours later.

Initial investigation revealed that Lyttle was riding a bicycle on Stafford Road when he was struck from behind by a green 2005 Subaru Legacy that fled the scene.  A second vehicle was also involved as Lyttle entered the opposite lane of travel after being struck by the Subaru.  The second vehicle remained on scene.

A family member told Fall River Reporter that Lyttle “was a father of 1. He had a family who loved him. He was my father’s only son. He’s not going to be with us anymore. His son is going to wake up with no father. They just left him there to die. No one helped him.”

Those who knew Lyttle have been posting flyers and looking for answers.

“Nobody deserves this. If you saw anything, know anything, or have footage, please come forward. No matter how small-please say something. Anonymous tips are also available. He has a family who is grieving and searching for answers. We will not give up until the responsible party is found and justice is served. If you know something, say something.”

The investigation into the cause of the crash is being coordinated by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office along with the Fall River Police Department.

Organizers ask that if you have any information, contact the Fall River Police Department Major Case Squad at (508) 676-8511 or discreetly call (857) 355-4331.
