Bristol County District Attorney identifies 31-year-old victim in Fall River homicide

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III has announced that a homicide occurred later in the day yesterday in the City of Fall River. 

At approximately 4:30 p.m., Fall River Police received a 911 call to the area of Leonard’s Package Store located at 1331 Pleasant Street for men fighting. 

Upon arrival police located 31-year-old Taiquan Teixeira of Fall River unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.  Teixeira was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased a few hours later. 

The homicide is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office along with the Fall River Police Department.
